The Nautilisk (W. quinergeum) were a species of floraunal mollusk-equivalents indigenous to the terrorsphere planet New Hette.
Amphibious in nature, Nautilisks could roam the surface — and in fact claimed it as their home — but had to spend hours per day soaking up enough water to keep their soft, supple skin from drying out. They moved on 45 tentacle-arms of varying thickness and could use any of their thinner limbs to manipulate their surroundings as necessary. Their bodies were boneless but they had long ago taken into a symbiotic relationship with a species of flora who was ultimately internalized within their bodies and the woody shape of its extensive roots formed the Nautilisk's internal shell structure to keep it from collapsing under its own weight. It is not known what, if anything, they ate beyond underwater bubbles which are thought to have been necessary to consume to keep their shell symbiotes alive and thriving; no studies were ever done on their species to any great extent.
When the planet was converted into its current terrorsphere state the species took a devastating hit. The Nautilisk is now thought to be extinct, though its coiled shell structures can be found all over New Hette.

- The Nautilisk — known in-game as the "Nautilisk Remains" was officially named by Somarinoa on the Hello Games official planet, New Hette during Expedition 2: Beachhead on May 28, 2021.
- Despite lore being created describing the creature as fauna, it is seen in-game as flora. The florauna explanation was decided upon to merge the two ideas into one.
