Amerigo Tranmer is an assassin for hire living in the dystopian city of Nova Hejmo. He has a long history of illegal relations including but not limited to:
- Murder
- Drug abuse
- Sexual assault
- Kidnapping
- Theft
He is well known throughout the city for his deeds, and anyone who wishes to see someone "disappear" will come to him. He will do anything for money.
Personality[]
Amerigo chooses to portray himself as a careless, unloving, heartless, and cruel killer. In spite of how he portrays himself, he is actually deeply tortured by his past, in which he witnessed the brutal murder of his mother and father by a violent gang. It was this, along with other negative influences within his corrupt home city, that led to his eventual involvement with crime.

In Amerigo[]
He was given a mission by a mysterious old man to assassinate the corrupted governor Fernando Tish, who is revealed to be demonic in origin. The old man gave Amerigo a strange necklace with an unusual gem on it which, when worn, gave Amerigo semi-demonic powers. He is armed with two pistols (which were imbued with demonic energy after Amerigo first put on the necklace), a scythe which he took from a defeated Scythe Sinner, and a large dual-pronged hook attached to a chain, which he stole from the demon Ahemait after killing her.
In Amerigo: Refocus[]
In Amerigo: Refocus, Amerigo discovers the evil plan of the fallen angel Prudence, who wanted to open a portal to Hell. After a journey through Nova Hejmo, he finally reached her and defeated her.
In Amerigo: Through Time[]
In Amerigo: Through Time, Amerigo is visited by a woman (Alice Koiner) from the year 2057. She tells him that the son of Fernando Tish (Ienzo Tish) has taken over the world in the future, and so she has come back in time to bring Amerigo to the future to defeat Ienzo.
