Thor[]

BGT Thor Overworld

Old Man Thor (Overworld)

  • Generalized Class: Paladin
  • Elemental Affinity: Lightning
  • Ascension Form: Dragon

After Tanma's unnecessary sacrifice, Thor finds himself back in the realm of the corporeal; however, everything has changed. Not only does he find himself aged considerably as if he had never been converted to light in the first place, but he finds that he has lost a significant amount of his former strength during his hibernation. He also is confused as to how he has gained scars and tattoos despite having not existed during the time lost. It is as if the world calculated what he would have become had he stayed corporeal and set him at that point of his existence. He also finds that Melissa has already fled the area out of a disgust for him that had grown over time and that he and his dragon form have been similarly injured.

What Thor does not know is that separating from the light fractured his soul and produced two separate entities: both himself and a "dark passenger" named Xander, a separate personality that had existed just below the surface of Thor's initial demeanor and simmered under the surface at the time.

Thor now seeks to reunite the old party (if at all possible) and support the heir(s) to herodom to replace the aging original party members.

Ward[]

  • Generalized Class: Unspecified
  • Elemental Affinity: Fire
  • Ascension Form: Devil

Non-Player Characters[]

Tanma[]

Tanma only appears at the beginning of the prologue chapter at the very beginning of the game, showing that time has passed and guilt has ate away at him. He ultimately chooses to sacrifice himself in order to release both Thor and Melissa from their "death" imprisonment, leading to what little even remains of the space station at this point losing synchronicity and crashing into the Frightwood.
